Even if you're not among the Chosen, or if your Jewish grandmother preferred shopping for imported handbags over cooking, WJWE does a phenomenal job of explaining the origins of quintessential Jewish holidays and rituals, the recipes behind them, and how to make them. Whether or not she can convince you that gefilte fish is the nugget of the sea may take a little faith on your part, bubbeleh. But trust me - it's a mitzvah! {Which today translates as delicious.}
